David Swan
Managing Director
Mr Swan leads the activities of WW Advisors and is responsible for sourcing, advising, arranging and managing transactions for its clients. Mr Swan’s experience in the real estate industry spans over 15 years and includes acquisition, development, property asset management, financing, structuring joint ventures and brokerage. To date Mr Swan has directed investments with a total value of approximately $2.25 billion.
Previously, Mr Swan was a director with Arcapita, the Middle Eastern Private Equity group, where he directed acquisitions across Europe in the logistics, residential and senior living sectors, as well as being responsible for all aspects of asset management. He managed a vehicle that acquired over 1 million square metres (over 11 million square feet) of logistics space across Europe.
Prior to Arcapita, Mr Swan was a director of Tishman Speyer Properties in London, where he held a number of senior positions including directing UK and European acquisitions, leading the development of a major office scheme in the City of London and being responsible for the property asset management of the European portfolio.
Mr Swan holds a Bachelor’s Degree with honours from the University of Portsmouth. Mr Swan is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, the Urban Land Institute and the Investment Property Forum.
